Every morning before work, Jenny and I play the ri

Every morning before work, Jenny and I play the ring toss game. It goes like this: there’s a ring attached to our guest room ceiling by a string, and the point of the game is to toss the ring onto a hook on the wall. Sometimes it takes 20 tries. Sometimes 120. But we made a pact that if either of us got it on the first toss, they get free takeout.

No one will be surprised to learn that Jenny was the first one-toss champion, and she selected Pad Thai from Bangkok Wok. She was also the second one-toss champion... and we decided on a sliding scale: dinner for your first win, lunch for your second, breakfast for your third. We had Jimmy John’s at City Island that day.

Yesterday, I finally conquered the toss and choose a dinner that is basically the entire reason for this post: the Brussels Sprout Caesar from @home231 with a side of fries. Harrisburg people: do not sleep on this meal! It is so good!

In other news, Jenny had yet another one-toss victory (!) this morning. I suspect doping. I also suspect that Ressler’s will be on the menu for breakfast tomorrow :)
