A Mini Christmas Bucket List

A Mini Christmas Bucket List

Christmas 2013 Collage

I love Christmas like no other. And this Christmas is rushing past like no other. So I’m preventing January from arriving unannounced and sans yuletide cheer with a little Christmas to-do list!

1. Send Christmas Cards

I love sending Christmas cards and gifts. Like, loooooove it. But this year, I’m going to looooooove getting anything out in the mail. At all. Because this Christmas is less wrapped-with-love-and-twine and more Lightning-Round-GO!  So if you do not receive any sort of Christmas greeting from me this year…you’ll know that I failed on this initiative. And know that I wish you a Merry Christmas all the same! (That right there? Probably your Christmas card, people. Let’s just be real.)

2. Drink Hot Chocolate

Technically, I’ve already done this, but I’d like to do it again.

At this point you are all realizing just how low the bar is set this year. But wait! There’s more!

3. Make Fudge

I kind of already did this one too…but not well. That’s because at the last minute I thought it would be a good idea to throw whole caramels into chocolate fudge.

It was not a good idea.

4. Watch Elf

This I know I can do.

5. See Frozen

I keep hearing wonderful things about this movie – and it takes place in the snow, so: automatic winner.

6. Go Light-Looking

Because some houses look like this. And some look like this.

7. Take Real Pictures and Videos

Going through old pictures to make that header up there made me miss using my real camera even more than I have been lately. So that’s on the list for sure. Bonus: last year’s Christmas video was so much fun that I want to do it again. And I actually know how to use the video portion of my camera this year, so the production quality should increase significantly from last year’s rendition of Blink Through Blurry Scenes.

8. Try Haagen Dazs Peppermint Bark Ice Cream

Because it’s not like we already have copious amounts of ice cream in the house or anything.

Ok gang, that’s my list. What are you all doing to celebrate the season?!
