In the spirit of knowing instead of wondering, I climbed some cliffs barefoot on my birthday.

Which makes it sound so much more adventurous than it actually was… I’m just not really sure what to call this particular rock formation, and few things sound quite as lackluster as, “I climbed a small rock formation barefoot on my birthday.”

So, cliffs it is.

Freedom hair, the dentist, and turning 31

I chopped a bunch of my hair off last Saturday.

I had been thinking about it for a little bit. Maybe a week or two. And when I remembered that there’s a Paul Mitchell School near my parents house where you can get your hair cut by a student for $12, I was pretty much sold on the whole deal.

28 Collage

I turned 28 a few days ago (although according to some sources, I actually turned 29). And since I love nothing more than a good round of reflection, I came up with this list of 28 things that have happened so far in life that I’m really happy about. It’s not an exhaustive list, and I’m sure 5 minutes after I hit Publish I’ll think of 10 more things to add, but these are the ones that have come to mind so far.
